Gaining Momentum: ACTG Names Mark Trinkle as President
Building its leadership team to continue its strong growth trend, ACTG promotes its CSO to President

Cincinnati, Ohio – Anthony Cole Training Group, the financial industry’s source for revenue growth, announced Mark Trinkle as President, to further accelerate the growth of the company. After graduating from Ohio Northern University with a BSBA, Mark spent the first 20 years of his career as a property & casualty insurance underwriter and broker. During this time, he realized that his real passion was for sales coaching. Mark joined ACTG in 2007 and in January of 2016 was named Chief Sales Officer. Tony Cole will continue in his role as CEO and co-owner of the company with Linda Cole, CFO and COO.
With his ‘get your oar in the water’ approach, Mark is already driving the team to a strong start in 2017, helping banks, insurance and brokerage firms hire better, coach better and sell better. Mark’s prior experience includes the role of Vice President of Business Development for both Wells Fargo and USI Insurance. Mark has a hands-on and humorous approach with his team and clients and will continue to lead the team in sales, accelerating growth and working with clients. As Mark states, “Our value is that we are salespeople hiring and training other salespeople. We are in the same boat, understand the challenges and are practicing the same skills day in and day out.”
According to a recent article in the Harvard Business Review, it takes 18 or more phone calls to connect with a prospect, callback rates are below 1%, and only 24% of outbound sales emails are ever opened. Trinkle, 51, will focus on accelerating ACTG’s growth and innovation in sales talent acquisition and development for the financial industries.
