According to Training Industry, 63% of buyers expect a response to their inquiries the same day. If you aren’t following up with your leads the same day they come in, then you are leaving business on the table.
There is no better time to reach and make progress with a prospective buyer because their problem is top of mind, and they are looking for solutions to make their problem go away. If you call them the next morning or within 24 hours even, some of that initial “fire” might have died, and you could be left trying to stoke the coals.
By the time you find out that a buyer is even interested in your solution, you are playing from behind. They have already searched, researched, compared, and limited down their options. Replying the same day shows the prospect that you are engaged, responsive and are going to take their needs seriously.
If you do this consistently, you are already ahead of your competition.
