The Importance of Online Sales Training
Hi, I’m Dan Fischer with Anthony Cole Training Group. And welcome to another Sales Brew. This week, our topic is online sales training. We believe a solid sales training program includes a three-step process with some form of repetition, as in in-person, virtual, live broadcasts, and online activities for self-improvement.
#1. Online Sales Training is Self-Paced
One of the advantages of online sales training is that it can be self-paced. In our ever-changing hectic world today, it’s nice to be able to learn at your leisure with fewer distractions.
#2. Online Sales Training is More Accessible and Fast-Paced
Online training doesn’t have to be laborious. Training modules don’t need to be an hour or two. 20 to 25 minutes tops. Having worksheets of the topics, viewing various live recordings and videos of live demonstrations, and having the opportunity to practice and roleplay the learned techniques is critical to the overall learning success.
#3. Repeatable Courses Help Reinforce Learnings
The online learning is then reinforced on virtual calls and in-person workshops. If done well and consistently, online learning can definitely have a positive impact on your sales training. Just like anything else, if you find the time, take it seriously and put in the work, you’ll see the results.
