After graduating from Malone University in Canton, Ohio on a baseball scholarship, my career in the insurance agency business began and it’s been a heck of a ride the past 28 years. I have been fortunate to have worked for three of the most respected insurance and banking firms in the industry – Marsh & McLennan, Hylant Group and Huntington Insurance (Huntington Bank), all in the Cleveland, Ohio market in the roles of sales production and sales leadership. I am so blessed to have worked with some of the most talented mentors and colleagues in the business who selflessly gave their time to help me become the best I can be.
I recently left the insurance brokerage business to join the Anthony Cole Training Group. This awesome opportunity gives me the ability to coach and train salespeople, not only in the insurance and banking field but in all industries as well. I’ve had a life-long passion for coaching and understand how to motivate people.
My introduction into ACTG was an 18-month Sales Managed Environment certified training program facilitated by Tony Cole. I bought into the training hook, line and sinker and fully endorsed the learned tools and techniques to help salespeople and sales leaders become top quartile. I’m so excited to put my training to work and help firms and salespeople become extraordinary.
My “Why” gets me up every morning…to inspire, motivate and have a positive impact on people through my passion to help them achieve beyond what they imagined.
Family is my life driver. I was born in St. Augustine, FL and have spent most of my youth and adult life in Northeast Ohio. My wife and best friend, Teresa, and I have been married for 33 years and have three grown boys and a granddaughter that keeps us young and joyful as ever. I am a sports-junky, having coached my three boys in baseball, basketball and football when they were growing up. I love to fish, especially ice fishing. If I can’t find ice on winter weekends in Northeast Ohio, I’ll find it somewhere!
